    In order to further expand the dimensions of our journal, Indo Global Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, we are pleased to inform all readers that renowned scientist, Prof. Francisco Jaime Bezerra Mendonça Junior, Head, Laboratory of Synthesis and Drug Delivery Systems, State University of Paraiba, Brazil have joined our editorial advisory board.

    Industrial pharmacist, PhD in Medicinal Chemistry by UFPE and Université Claude Bernard Lyon1 (2007). Currently is the General Director of the Paraíba Technological Park Foundation (PaqTcPB), quadrennium 2017-2021; Associate Professor 1 of the State University of Paraíba/Brazil; professor of the Postgraduate Programs in: Bioactive Natural and Synthetic Products of the UFPB, Therapeutic Innovation of UFPE, and the Graduate Program in Chemistry of UEPB, where he teaches and guides at master’s and doctoral level. Author & co-author of more than 70 published scientific articles. Author of 1 book “Neglected Diseases from the Perspective of Medicinal Chemistry” and five other book chapters. Inventor with 16 patent applications filed/granted at INPI (BR) and two PCTs. Reviewer of several journals of great impact in the area of ​​chemistry, and the pharmacy. Guest editor of several scientific journals. Was R&D Manager and Director of Strategic Affairs at HEMOBRAS (2009 to 2011). Was Director of Biological Science and Applied Social Sciences Center (CCBSA) of UEPB, for two consecutive mandates (out/2012 – september/2014) and (out/2014 – sep/2016). Has several projects approved by development agencies in Brazil, working in the area of ​​Medicinal and Organic Chemistry, with emphasis on Synthesis and Planning of new Drugs and bioactive molecules for the treatment of chronic-degenerative diseases, such as cancer, inflammation and pain, and infectious and neglected.
